What is Nano Stretch Film?

Nano stretch film is a cast polyethylene film built from a large number of very thin co-extruded layers, in this case, 67 layers. Each layer contributes a specific property, so the finished film combines high stretch, tear resistance, and cling without needing extra thickness. This is what makes it a sustainable choice.

A thinner film holds the same load as a heavier conventional wrap, so less plastic is used on every pallet, an approach known as source reduction. The film is applied under tension around palletised goods to hold them together and protect them from moisture, dust and mechanical damage in transit, and the polyethylene remains recyclable through soft plastic

Proper storage is critical to maintaining stretch and cling performance. Rolls should be stored in a cool, dry, sheltered area, out of direct sunlight, which can degrade the film over time. Rolls are best kept upright on a clean surface and should not be crushed or stacked under heavy loads.
For the best results, match the film grade to your wrapping method. The 8 micron film is intended for manual and low-stretching applications, the 12 micron film suits both manual and machine wrapping, and the ultra grade is designed for machine application. Alternative thicknesses and lengths can be produced to order.
