What is Sustainable Packaging?
Sustainable packaging reduces environmental impact across its life, from the material it is made from to what happens after it is used. In practice, there are two ways to get there, and they are often confused.
Substitution means swapping a plastic material for a recyclable paper one. A kraft padded mailer replaces a poly mailer. Honeycomb paper replaces bubble wrap. The waste stream changes from plastic to paper.
Source reduction means using less material to do the same job. Nano stretch film secures the same pallet with a thinner film, so the plastic that remains is significantly reduced.
Both are legitimate. The right approach depends on which part of your packaging is under pressure and what your operation can practically switch.

Our Sustainable Packaging Range
Kraft Tape
A paper-based carton sealing tape that recycles with the box itself. Because tape and carton go into the same waste stream, cartons need no separation before recycling.
Honeycomb Paper
An expandable paper wrap that replaces plastic bubble wrap. Made from a single paper material, it is fully recyclable with no plastic film to separate out.
Honeycomb Core
A paper core that gains its strength from structure rather than material bulk, so it uses less to achieve more. It replaces plastic and foam protectors and recycles with cardboard.
Corrugated Roll
A recyclable kraft wrap that takes the place of plastic film and foam for surface protection and void fill. It goes into the same paper stream as the carton around it.
Padded Mailers
Kraft and honeycomb mailers that replace poly mailers for e-commerce despatch. The honeycomb option is entirely paper-based, with no plastic bubble lining.
Nano Stretch Film
A 67-layer film that holds the same pallet at a much lower thickness. Where plastic cannot be removed from the process, this is how you use significantly less of it.
