Careers

We are Hiring: ERPNext Associate – MIS & Implementation

Location: Remote

Type: Full-time

Compensation: Commensurate with experience and skill

About the Role

AAB Industries, a packaging manufacturer and trading company, is looking for an ERPNext Associate to own the build-out and ongoing management of our ERPNext system. We already run ERPNext – what we need is someone to configure it around our actual workflows, customise the backend where needed, and turn it into a reliable engine for our CRM, ERP, MIS and management reporting.
This is a hands-on, end-to-end role: you will set up the system, tailor it to our manufacturing and trading processes, and then keep it efficient, accurate, and reporting-ready as the business grows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implementation & configuration: Set up and configure ERPNext across the core modules – Manufacturing/BOM, Stock & Inventory, Buying, Selling, and Accounts – to align with our manufacturing and trading workflows.
  • Backend customization: Build custom fields, DocTypes, workflows, server/client scripts, and automations as required to fit our processes (not just out-of-the-box configuration).
  • MIS & reporting: Design and maintain custom reports, dashboards, and KPIs that give management clear, timely visibility into production, inventory, sales, purchases, and costing.
  • Data integrity: Ensure clean master data and accurate transactional data so reports are trustworthy.
  • Maintenance & optimization: Monitor system performance, resolve issues, and continuously improve speed, accuracy, and usability.
  • User support & training: Support internal users, document processes, and train staff on correct system usage.
  • Updates: Manage ERPNext version updates and validate that customizations and reports remain intact.

Requirements

  • ERPNext certification (Frappe/ERPNext certified).
  • Demonstrable hands-on experience building out and customizing ERPNext in a live business environment. We are open to years of experience and proven capability matters more than tenure.
  • Working knowledge of the Frappe framework, including custom DocTypes, scripting (Python server scripts, client scripts), and the report/dashboard builders.
  • Strong grasp of core ERP concepts — inventory, manufacturing (BOM, work orders), procurement, sales, and basic accounting flows.
  • Ability to translate business workflows into ERP configuration and customization.
  • Comfortable building MIS reports and dashboards; SQL/Query Report experience is a strong plus.
  • Self-driven and reliable in a remote setup, with clear communication.

Good to Have

  • Prior experience in a manufacturing or trading business (packaging industry a bonus).
  • Experience with ERPNext print formats, integrations/APIs, and data migration.
  • Basic familiarity with Linux server environments / ERPNext deployment.
